We are currently seeking candidates for both our investment and lending teams, offering two distinct internship tracks: Credit Analyst Intern in our Loan Operations department or Investment Research and Operations Intern in our Investment Management and Trust department.

INTERNSHIP TRACK 1: CREDIT ANALYST INTERN
As a Credit Analyst Intern, you will:
- Analyze borrower tax returns and financial statements (audited/compiled/reviewed) for new and existing commercial borrowers to ensure the ability to repay loans and adherence to Bank policy standards.
- Communicate financial analysis and conclusions to commercial bankers and Credit Committee.
- Assist in managing the commercial real estate portfolio, identifying trends affecting credit quality.
- Assist in the commercial loan origination process to get exposure to loan and corporate legal documents necessary to create a legal binding contract for the loan.
- Contribute to the creation of written communication materials.
The Credit Analyst Intern will report directly to our VP of Loan Operations and work closely with the Bank’s Commercial Bankers.
Candidacy, Education and Experience:
- Interest in corporate financial analysis.
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking ability and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong math understanding, good written communication skills and problem-solving desire.
- Assertiveness, ability to make timely decisions and capacity to take and give good direction.
Approximately 40 hours per week commitment.
INTERNSHIP TRACK 2: INVESTMENT RESEARCH AND OPERATIONS INTERN
As an Investment Research and Operations Intern, you will:
- Perform bottom-up and top-down research and security analysis across various asset classes.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with transaction processing and account maintenance.
- Coordinate, develop and maintain customized presentation materials for internal and external use.
- Contribute to the creation of written client communication materials.
The Investment Research and Operations Intern will report directly to our Director of Research and engage significantly with the firm’s Investment Committee, Research Committee, client service team and third-party managers.
Candidacy, Education and Experience:
- Interest in investment analysis, securities trading, and investment communication and reporting
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking ability and a commitment to confidentiality
- Strong math understanding, good written communication skills and problem-solving desire.
- Assertiveness, ability to make timely decisions and capacity to take and give good direction.
- Approximately 40 hours per week commitment.
