POSITION SUMMARY
As a Loan Operations Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to commercial, mortgage and consumer loan origination and servicing.  Attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task are essential to this position.  The right candidate will have the ability to work effectively and accurately in a deadline orientated environment, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.  Knowledge of Windows environment and proficient computer skills are also necessary. 

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparation of loan documents including loan estimates and closing disclosures
  • Onboard all new loans and renewals
  • Review files and track exceptions
  • Order flood determinations, verifications, appraisals and title work
  • Process various secondary market tasks
  • File and release liens such as MV-1, UCC filings, continuations, amendments, terminations and mortgages
  • Type adverse action forms in a timely manner
  • Scan loan files, credit card files, exceptions, insurance and miscellaneous documents
  • Process paid loan papers
  • Post payments, make draws, advances and construction draws
  • Draft pay-off statements
  • Close out escrow accounts
  • Balance official account statements monthly
  • Provide backup for all loan operational duties

It is essential to observe the strictest secrecy and confidentiality on the subject of accounts and activities of any kind of dealing with the bank and maintain a high level of enthusiasm and customer awareness while conveying our confidence in the bank and the services that are offered.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
