We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Deposit Operations Associate to join our downtown Wisconsin Rapids team.

What You’ll Do
As a Deposit Operations Associate, you will provide critical operational support across WoodTrust Bank. This role is responsible for monitoring, processing, and resolving daily deposit-related transactions while delivering excellent service to both internal teams and external customers. All responsibilities are performed in alignment with the Bank’s mission, values, and guiding principles. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Proof & Check Processing
- Balance work received from tellers and electronic data channels
- Correct MICR fields and transaction discrepancies as needed
- Prepare nightly posting files and cash letters
- Overdrafts & Returns
- Review and process over drafted accounts following officer guidance
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve issues
- Conduct account research and document detailed notes
- Prepare and process outgoing return items
- Exceptions Processing
- Review and decision non-posted transactions
- Analyze reports and process items according to department procedures
- Additional Responsibilities (for trained associates)
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers
- Perform account research and maintenance
- Assist with monthly billing and special projects

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to three years of related experience and/or training preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
