We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented person for a Credit Analyst Intern in our Loan Operations department. This position will be based in our Wisconsin Rapids office.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CREDIT ANALYST INTERN
As a Credit Analyst Intern, you will:

  • Analyze borrower financial statements for new and existing commercial borrowers to ensure the ability to repay the loans and that the borrowers meet Bank policy standards.
  • Analyze corporate audited/compiled/reviewed or borrower prepared financial statements and personal tax returns.
  • Communicate financial analysis and conclusions in oral and written form to the commercial bankers and Credit Committee.
  • Assist in managing commercial real estate portfolio that includes reviewing data and identifying trends that could affect the bank’s credit quality.
  • Assist in the creation of written communication materials.

The Credit Analyst Intern will report directly to our VP of Loan Operations and will have significant interaction with the Bank’s Commercial Bankers.

CANDIDACY, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should:

  • have an interest in corporate financial analysis. Education or past experience should reflect this interest.
  • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word, specifically)
  • Attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, the ability to multi-task and the strictest level of confidentiality are essential to this position as well as a solid understanding of math concepts, good written communication skills and a desire to solve problems.
  • Other beneficial qualities include assertiveness, the ability to make timely decisions as well as take and give good direction.

This position will require the person to work roughly 40 hours per week.
