We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented person who enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets for an Asset Management Administrative Assistant position at our Wausau office in the Dudley Tower.  We will train the right candidate for this position and offer off-site training opportunities for continued career growth!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSET MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This position has a great deal of variety and opportunity for continued growth.  This is a multi-function position which focuses on providing operational and service support to clients and Officers in our Asset Management area.  If you are an insightful problem solver, detailed oriented, enjoy working with numbers and spreadsheets, eager to ask questions to further your understanding of money management and help others, this position is for you. 

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Administrative and Teller Support

  • Greet clients, answer calls, provide lobby coverage, assist in opening/closing
  • Handle teller transactions and other teller related functions
  • Process client cash distributions, client bills, transfers or cash receipts
  • Validate reports for reporting accuracy, ensuring system codes are appropriate and researching and resolving issues
  • Pay tax estimates and balance due amounts
  • Assist in distributing tax work to clients and accountants
  • Set up online access accounts and troubleshoot client issues
  • Complete Certificate of Deposit processing
  • Scan and index documents
  • Monitor & process insurance account payments and notifications
  • Perform account system maintenance
  • Process IRA distributions
  • Prepare Asset Management account documents
  • Provide administrative support to Officers as needed

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Opportunities for further education.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Having an interest in a position with detailed work, numbers and spreadsheets is essential. Other key attributes needed to successfully do this job are having an ability to stay focused with interruptions, experience with data operating systems, ability to set up check/balance systems, organized, diligent worker, good computer and problem-solving skills, and a team player.

Knowledge of Windows environment (specifically some Excel understanding) and proficient computer skills are necessary.

Must enjoy people and be willing and eager to interact pleasantly with customers and fellow associates alike. Must understand the team concept and be able to function as a member of a team as the team works towards a common goal. It is essential to observe the strictest confidentiality on the subject of accounts and activities of any kind dealing with the bank.
