The WoodTrust - Bell Foundation was founded by the family of Chester O. Bell, a long time businessman in the Wisconsin Rapids area. The Foundation was created to provide support to various organizations in the South Wood County Area. Specifically, the Foundation’s Board of Directors seeks to assist local charities and other groups which attempt to enhance the lives of the area’s youth. Support in the area of post high school education is one of the Foundations primary goals and objectives.

Accordingly, we are very pleased to announce this years scholarships of $500 for each student with the chance to renew the award the following year. These students compiled strong academic records, participated in numerous volunteer, athletic, and club events, and proved themselves to be well-rounded individuals. We are very proud of their achievements and hope you will join us in wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.

WoodTrust Financial Corporation is pleased to announce three winners of the WoodTrust Financial Corporation Scholarship Awards. These awards are for $500 each and are presented to the children of WoodTrust associates, or WoodTrust associates who have met graduation requirements from area high schools and who have shown above average academic and leadership qualities. All of these winners are pursuing additional education. The winners are:

Ross Provost,, Son of Kevin and Sheila Provost. Ross plans on attending the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

Roger Patterson , Son of Jeffry and LuAnn Patterson. Roger plans on attending University of Wisconsin – Stout.

Spencer Schill, Son of Daniel and Michelle Schill. Spencer plans on attending University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
